Primary Responsibility - Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Should possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, MAS 90, UPS, and Fed Ex shipping software or be willing to train in these areas as scheduling permits.
- Coordinate and schedule incoming and outgoing freight shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery and optimizing shipping schedules to support operational efficiency.
- Responsible for transitioning plant production materials to warehouse for storage or daily order fulfillment.
- Must have experience in scheduling warehouse production and order fulfillment processes.
- Must possess strong organizational/time management skills.
- Responsible for inventory and non-inventory item and their accuracy.
- Support various departments with raw materials and supply counts on a weekly basis or upon request.
- Must have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Follows standard safety procedures, reports safety and environmental hazards to senior management. Reads, understands, and applies information such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Must have flexible schedule for overtime and rotating shifts as may be required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Secondary Responsibility - Must be forklift certified with the ability to load/ unload containers and trucks.
- Will be responsible for order fulfillment
Qualifications and Education Requirements Must have High school diploma or general education degree GED or equivalent. Must have 1-3 years’ work experience in shipping and receiving. Previous forklift experience desired. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to operate various pieces of warehouse equipment. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Physical Requirements - Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift to 50 lbs.
