We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to be responsible for rail car and truck shipping through the preparation of case goods, drums and bins with the use of inventory control systems, associated documentation, personnel and time management. This leader will supervise the warehouse and label-line personnel; responsible for inventory control of finished goods; and supports the inventory control function for direct materials at our Northwest Packing plant in Vancouver, WA.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains processes and procedures to ensure accurate, efficient and productive work activities for warehousing functions.
- Participates and assists in the resolution of customer complaints and requests in a timely manner. Ensures orders are fulfilled in a timely manner and within budget.
- Supervises, monitors and directs personnel including leads, forklift operators, general labor and clerical staff to deliver exceptional customer service and for performance and compliance with acceptable standards for safety, sanitation and productivity.
- Coordinates with Production Operations to ensure prepping activities are performed in a timely manner according to production rate requirements and required specifications, and applicable Standard Operating Policies & Procedures (SOP’s); ensures adequate supply of materials are available to support production process.
- Assists the Warehouse Manager in making decisions that affect the inventory values and/or efficiencies and to help maintain a working knowledge of customer specific requirements and specifications; may assist in working with Customer Service and Sales to ensure specific needs are met.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in supply chain & logistics, management or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
- 2 years’ demonstrated experience in materials and inventory management control in the manufacturing or logistics industry and at least one year in a supervisory role.
- 2 years’ relevant work experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the equipment and methodology for labeling canned goods and working knowledge of food labeling laws.
- Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and working knowledge of WMS systems and/or ERP systems and ability to learn and operate various inventory, materials and operational software as applicable, including technical equipment.
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, a background screen, work extended hours and weekends during the packing season (typically early July to early November).
Compensation:
The salary range is $78,000 - $90,000, based on experience and qualifications.
