Description
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fulfillment of daily orders including generating order paperwork & labels, picking & staging material, and loading trucks correctly and on time.
- Maintain an accurate inventory count of raw materials and complete weekly cycle counting.
- Draw on industry knowledge, experience, and critical thinking to proactively identify potential order issues and find solutions to problems.
- Expedite aged orders to improve the Speed-to Ship to our customers.
- Provide an exceptional customer experience by ensuring the customer is always the priority.
- Ensure that the facility is properly cleaned & maintains safety guidelines.
- Participating in other warehouse support functions as needed.
- Prepare orders according to company standards.
- Performs lumber cycle counting and reconcile problems within the operation.
- Communicate order & inventory issues to the Lumber Warehouse Manager.
- Inputs and creates reports/documents for their functional area to keep track of product movement.
- Ensure all department objectives are met.
- Manage returned material inventory and repackaging when necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations.
- Participate in the training and further development of team members.
- Make suggestions for productivity improvements.

- Assist and satisfy the needs of our customers.
- Be proficient in handheld devices, POS and MPOS systems including Search and Send and BOPS.
- Ensure all procedures, policies, and standards are followed.
- Perform all functions in an efficient manner.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Safely operate a forklift.
- Knowledge of all products.
- Must embody the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
- Knowledge of shipping and transportation methods.
- Experienced in picking and packing orders.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School graduate
- 2-3 years of related experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, strong computer & communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position involves constant moving and standing.
- Involves lifting at least 50 lbs.
- May occasionally be involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and moving boxes.
