Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate inventory records, conducts regular audits, and implements efficient inventory management practices to minimize discrepancies.
  • Coordinates with the logistics team to ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders.
  • Implements and enforces quality assurance procedures to ensure the accuracy and condition of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment. Conducts regular safety inspections and provides training on proper handling of equipment and materials.
  • Optimizes warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Generates reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory levels, order accuracy, and productivity metrics. Analyzes data to identify areas for improvement and implements corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborates with customer service and sales teams to address customer inquiries, resolve order discrepancies, and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Identifies opportunities for process optimization and cost savings and implements best practices to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Manages human resource functions, including employment decisions, hiring, performance evaluations, associate concerns, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manages manpower schedule and oversees payroll reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and coach team members.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
