Overview
This role supports a production‑focused environment and includes oversight of machine operators and material processing activities. The Warehouse Supervisor ensures materials move accurately and efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
What You’ll Do
Operational Leadership
- Lead and support warehouse associates, machine operators, and/or team leads to meet daily operational goals.
- Assign and prioritize tasks to ensure shipments and production‑related orders are completed on time.
- Maintain efficient workflow for incoming and outgoing materials.
Shipping & Receiving
- Ensure all received materials meet accuracy and quality standards.
- Review and approve shipping/receiving documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers and determine best shipping methods when needed.
Quality & Safety
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse conditions.
- Investigate operational or material issues and implement corrective actions.
Support & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with hands‑on warehouse or production‑support tasks during high‑volume periods.
- Monitor non‑conforming products and ensure proper handling.
- Communicate performance expectations and support employee development.
What You Bring
Experience & Skills
- Prior leadership experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of warehouse equipment, tools, machinery, and material‑handling processes.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to identify workflow issues and resolve them efficiently.
Education & Physical Requirements
- High school diploma required; technical or industry‑related education preferred.
- Ability to read and understand written instructions and documentation in English.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, reach, and handle materials.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Required vision abilities: close-range, distance, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
