Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Lead / Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping operations. This role ensures all products are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining company service levels and cost objectives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong forklift experience, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate workflow, support associates, and ensure smooth shift operations.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations (Receiving, Shipping & Inventory)
Oversee receiving, unloading, staging, picking, and shipping of products
Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, complete, and damage-free
Verify paperwork, BOLs, and shipping documentation with drivers
Label, sort, wrap, pack, re-pack, and prepare products for shipment
Scan and process inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS)
Maintain accurate inventory records, cycle counts, and product locator systems
Rotate stock and ensure optimal warehouse space utilization
Leadership & Coordination
Assist in coordinating daily warehouse schedules and workflow assignments
Support and guide warehouse associates to meet productivity and service goals
Communicate effectively between office staff, floor operations, and drivers
Assist with labor reporting, production tracking, and operational reporting
Help ensure all shifts and customer orders are completed on time
Safety, Equipment & Quality Control
Operate material handling equipment safely and in compliance with OSHA standards
Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Report damages, shortages, and quality variances immediately
Assist in maintaining warehouse security procedures
Customer Service & Administrative Support
Respond to inquiries, order requests, and shipment questions professionally
Assist in resolving shipping or inventory issues in a timely manner
Ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of all reports
Support inventory audits, cycle counts, and physical inventory processes
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required
2–4 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience required
Experience operating forklifts and material handling equipment (sit-down, reach truck, order picker, electric pallet jack) required
Strong understanding of shipping/receiving processes and warehouse operations
Familiarity with WMS systems, scanning, and basic computer use
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Must have excellent attendance and work habits
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and reach throughout the shift
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs safely using proper techniques
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment for extended periods
