Job Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY |
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for managing the inventory of raw materials and supplies, as well as supervising the activities in the warehouse. This includes supplying necessary items from bills of material to machines, shipping, and receiving. The Warehouse Supervisor will also model employee ownership behaviors, promote engagement of their direct reports, and focus on enhancing our customers’ experience. |
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: | |
Manages inventory levels | |
Supervises warehouse activities | |
Manages the performance and training of direct reports | |
Champions Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies | |
Maintains the warehouse in “visitor ready” condition | |
Champions the culture of quality |
Additional REQUIRED Qualifications/Skills: |
Associates degree or equivalent |
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or warehouse operations |
Familiarity with SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, Lean and other contemporary tools |
PC Skills - Microsoft Office suite, ERP systems, eQMS |
Excellent interpersonal and teambuilding skills |
Participative leadership style |
Ability to obtain a DOT medical certificate |
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Supervisory role |
Clean driving record Successfully pass your DOT physical |
Additional PREFERRED Qualifications/Skills: |
Bachelor’s degree preferred |
Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or 21 CFR 820 preferred |
10 Hour OSHA Certificate preferred |
