We're looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading others, and is committed to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations in the Branchburg, New Jersey Door Distribution Plant.

As our Warehouse Supervisor, we need your in-depth knowledge of operations to:

· Lead and motivate a team of warehouse employees to achieve safety, quality, service, and productivity goals.

· Create a safe, engaged, and high-performing work environment through coaching, communication, and accountability.

· Conduct daily team huddles to align priorities, communicate updates, and celebrate successes.

· Coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, loading, shipping, inventory, and specialty operations as applicable.

· Partner with Operations Leadership to execute operational plans and maintain standard best practices.

· Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of new team members.

· Coach employees through performance challenges while recognizing and reinforcing great work.

· Partner with Sales and Purchasing teams to ensure customer expectations are met.

· Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts and inventory control processes.

· Identify opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and overall warehouse performance.

· Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operational, addressing issues quickly when they arise.

· Help lead change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts that support business growth.

Who You Are

We would love to hear from you if you have:

· 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.

· Knowledge of doors, warehousing, logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.

· Experience leading teams through change while maintaining engagement and performance.

· Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus!

· Experience with SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or related systems is an asset.

· Continuous improvement experience or Lean/Six Sigma certification is a plus.

· Experience working in a union environment is a plus

· Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

The Warehouse Supervisor needs to be available for all shifts (for coverage if needed). Scheduled shift will be Monday-Friday, Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Working in-branch, 5 days per week together, is the default workplace environment for Metrie to be an exceptional place to work. Being together in-person enables deeper communication, spontaneous problem-solving, direct mentoring, and continuous learning.

The base pay range for this role starts at $54,000-60,000/year. It is important to note that this position may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. The specific base pay within the range will be contingent upon an individual's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Furthermore, it is essential to highlight that our remuneration ranges are established based on the role, level, and location.
