Job Description

An internship at Edges Electrical Group isn’t just a summer “job”, it’s a hands-on, immersive experience in wholesale supply chain/logistics supporting the Electrical trades.

Our warehouses are the backbone of our business, and our teams work together to ensure that our customers orders are fulfilled and delivered with the highest level of customer service and support. And while service and support to our customers is crucial, the service we support each other with internally is just as important. 

This role is 100% on-site, Mon-Fri at our location in Sacramento CA (Natomas).

As an Edges Warehouse intern you will learn all aspects of our day to day warehouse operations including, but no limited to:

• Receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes and procedures
• Maintaining and analyzing inventory levels
• Training to safely operate a forklift
• Picking, packing and shipping orders in a timely and accurate manner as assigned by leadership
• Ensuring that all outbound orders are inspected and correct as ordered
• Knowledge of proper safety procedures, and OSHA guidelines and requirements
• Meeting productivity metrics, such as orders packed per hour 
• Assisting with other functions such as receiving, shipping, transfers and order staging.

Qualifications: 

• Ability to commit to duration of internship ( approx June 15th-August 15th, 2026) 
• Desire and ability to learn new technologies (software and hardware necessary to complete tasks)
• Attention to detail 
• Ability to meet attendance requirements 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently 
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment 
• Flexible and adaptable to feedback; we want you to feel comfortable giving, receiving, and applying feedback!

Interns will be assigned a Warehouse Mentor, who will provide training, daily feedback and support to ensure your experience is a positive one! The mentor will also be responsible for providing feedback to the warehouse management team of the interns’ performance, attendance, and communication for the duration of the internship. Interns who successfully complete program with success may be considered for part-time or full-time employment with Edges.
