Job Summary: Receive and stock product, assist with warehouse and yard operations, load materials, and prepare orders for shipment and customer pick-up in a safe and efficient manner.

Schedule:

Part-time position
10am-2pm
Approximately 4–6 hours per day, 4 days per week

Typical Responsibilities:

Deliver a positive customer experience by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
Understand the warehouse/yard layout, bin location system, and the various products stocked by the company.
Handle all materials, products, and equipment with care.
Pull, load, package, and prepare materials/products for shipment or customer pick-up.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
Receive incoming product and inspect materials for accuracy, damage, and freight count discrepancies.
Stock and organize products in their designated warehouse and yard locations.
Help prevent shipping, receiving, and inventory errors by verifying completed work.
Properly label all products for delivery and customer pick-up.
Complete and document all receiving paperwork, shortages, and damages accurately.
Report vendor shipping errors in accordance with company SOPs.
Scan and file receiving documents, freight claims, and RGA documentation as needed.
Assist customers at the counter and in the yard when needed.
Support general warehouse and yard organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, customer service, judgment, stress management, and attention to detail skills.
Effectively manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities throughout the workday.
Effective computer skills.
Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Follow all company safety procedures and work safely at all times.

Certifications and/or Licenses:

Ability to pass operator exam and drive powered industrial equipment.
