Job Overview:

Position Summary

The Warehouse Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and retail counter sales within an HVAC distribution facility. This role ensures efficient inventory management, safe warehouse practices, superior customer service, and leadership of warehouse staff. The manager will work the sales counter daily in addition coordinating logistics and customer pickup’s. The manager will drive operational excellence, and maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping HVAC products.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Coordinate logistics with vendors, carriers, and internal departments.

Sales & Customer Service

  • Manage the store counter, ensuring prompt, knowledgeable, and professional service to HVAC contractors and customers.
  • Support sales by processing orders, sourcing parts, and recommending product solutions.
  • Promote upselling and add-on products to drive store sales.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse associates.
  • Set performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations.
  • Foster a team culture centered on safety, accountability, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of warehouse, distribution, or retail management experience (HVAC or related industry preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC products, parts, and distribution operations is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse/retail environment.
