JOB TITLE: Warehouse Specialist
Position Summary: Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and Warehouse Supervisor to receive daily incoming shipments and prepare loads for shipment. Work with Plant Manager/Supervisors to facilitate a seamless chain of communication to allow for uninterrupted production.
Job Purpose: The warehouse specialist helps to ensure proper identification and placement of incoming materials allowing for expedited pick and pull for upcoming/future shipments. Works with the warehouse manager to stage parts for shipment following day. Also works with the plant floor to make sure all needed parts/components are readily available for the production line.
Reporting: Directly to the Warehouse Manager
Essential Responsibilities:

Ensure all incoming material is verified and labeled (correct part number and quantity), work with the quality dept as needed.
•
Once incoming material has been verified, place material into designated holding locations.
•
Pull customer shipping records from Plex, then pull material required for next day shipping loads.
•
Work with Plant Manager/Supervisors when needed to make sure all materials required for production have been pulled and are accessible in the staging area.
•
Reconcile all material returned from the plant floor using floor scale to verify quantity or count by hand.
•
Work on improving the flow and organization of warehouse including component isles and part raw storage.

Competencies and Education:
•
High school diploma or GED preferred
•
4+ years of experience in Warehousing
•
Forklift license is required
•
Excellent communication skills
•
Microsoft Office
•
ERP Systems (Plex preferred)
