Job Summary

The Operator Packer is responsible for supporting bagging, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and shipping operations. Working under direct supervision, this position operates bag-packing equipment, prepares finished products for shipment, and loads trucks while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate bag packer, pallet table, and related packaging equipment.

• Perform bagging and packaging operations according to established procedures.

• Palletize and shrink-wrap finished products.

• Verify proper bag codes, labels, and product markings.

• Inspect packaged products for accuracy and quality.

• Prepare finished products for shipment.

• Load trucks safely and efficiently.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all HSE guidelines, safety policies, and operating procedures.

• Report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or packaging problems.

• Support production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Entry-level position; previous warehouse, packaging, manufacturing, or production experience is a plus but not required.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work safely around production and packaging equipment.

• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Compensation

$24.50 per hour
