POSITION SUMMARY
Oversee and supervise a work group to meet department goals.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm + Saturday rotation.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise the efficient operation of staff
Hire, train, evaluate and develop direct reports
Maintain a safe working environment for all associates
Ensure excellent customer service and communication
Receiving:
Returns:
Inspect and physically count returned merchandise
Restock inventory in appropriate place
Outbound freight of vender returns
Paperwork for all warranty product
Unloading of customer/inventory transfers from corporate warehouses

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 80 pounds. Handling of tires (e.g., rolling, destacking, team lifting) greater than approximately 70 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Protective equipment required: steel or composite toe boots, safety vest, harness, seatbelt, SRL (self-retracting lifeline). All equipment is provided by U.S. AutoForce except for steel / composite toe boots.
- Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Fumes associated with tires and occasionally car parts and lubricants prevalent.

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years of related experience
- Skills and experience sufficient to supervise assistant receivers and helpers
- Knowledge of or ability to learn computer systems
- Willing to work overtime or flexible hours on short notice
- Good memory and scanning abilities
- Good communication and math skills
- Able to lift up to 65 lbs. with the proper equipment and climb 20 feet on a regular basis
- Able to learn to use a forklift
- May require valid driver’s license and conformance with company driver policy
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or logistics. MBA degree preferred.
- 10 years broad based business and leadership experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong track record of strategy execution, complex decision making, evaluating, and understanding all dimensions of a competitive environment with the ability to leverage that knowledge into practical, implementable plans.
- Superior operating capabilities with a results/metrics-oriented management style with demonstrated ability to deliver operational excellence and substantive improvements to processes, operations, or practices. Known for creating new approaches to solving existing problems.
- Promotes a people-first culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Highly effective leader of teams and individuals – ability to deliver strong team performance by leveraging, developing, and combining individual strengths. Effective manager of change and talent development.
- Recognized leadership in operational practices and workforce safety initiatives.
- Effective risk manager: ability to see and assess risk and find effective mitigation strategies. Ability to learn from prior mistakes and course correct as needed.
- A thorough understanding of cash flow and balance sheet strategies.
- Naturally connects and builds strong relationships with others, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (do not test for THC / marijuana)
