POSITION SUMMARY:
The function of the Warehouse Operations Manager is to manage assigned personnel to maximize efficiencies in the areas of product inventory, demand planning, product freshness, shipping/receiving, product locations, product restocking, daily order picking, order verification, order loading, invoicing, and daily opening/closing of the warehouse while maintaining a clean, safe working environment. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL TASKS
WAREHOUSE, INVENTORY & FACILITY
- Supervise and lead both day and night warehouse personnel, prepare daily work assignments, schedules, and assign job specific duties
- Analyze daily workflow, assist in determining staffing requirements, attend interviews and supervise training of new personnel
- Manage shipping/receiving, truck returns, product restocking, product returns, and product repack
- Improve warehouse efficiencies through warehouse layout, product locations, pick flow, and pick accuracy
- Supervise daily truck check-in process for delivery personnel
- Assist in warehouse floor work such as inventory, product ordering, shipping/receiving, product locations, product repacking, order picking, order verifying and loading
- Manage daily maintenance of the warehouse to ensure a clean, safe working environment
- Management and oversight of warehouse opening, closing and lock-up procedures
- Work with the sales team to properly forecast product inventory
- Ongoing oversight of demand planning, daily inventory (includes pallets and shells), code date inventory
- Develop and maintain supply chain relationships, communications, and logistics
- Oversight of facilities and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, etc.)
- Assist in ongoing management of safety compliance to ensure a safe workplace

- Constantly review existing policies/procedures for possible improvements.
- Properly complete all required paperwork to company policy and timeline.
- Required to have, attend, and/or participate in all scheduled meetings.
- Required to work nights, weekends, and non-traditional hours as needed.
- Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all company provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other method provided. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to ej4 and/or facilitated training.

- Required to complete other activities assigned by supervisor.
- May be required to travel for company events, training, meetings, etc.

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS:
- Meet all pre-employment qualifications
- Valid State Driver’s License with acceptable MVR
- High School Diploma or GED
- Microsoft Office
- Forklift Certification
- At least (3) Years Warehouse, beverage/consumer product related experience preferred
