Material Handler – Reach Truck, Order Picker & Electric Pallet Jack Operator

Pay: $18.50-$20.50/HR | $27.75-$30.75/HR Overtime

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday

Start: ASAP – Immediate Openings

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:45 AM
• 2nd Shift: 5:45 PM – 2:30 AM

Experienced Equipment Operators Needed

We are hiring experienced Material Handlers / Warehouse Equipment Operators for PIP's distribution center in Olive Branch, MS.

This is NOT an entry-level equipment operator position.

Candidates must have recent, hands-on experience safely operating ALL THREE of the following:

• Reach Truck
• Order Picker
• Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ)

Candidates must be able to operate this equipment safely and independently with minimal additional training.

IMPORTANT: Hands-On Equipment Assessment Required

Candidates will be required to successfully complete an onsite equipment and safety assessment.

The assessment includes:

1. Equipment Driving Test

Candidates will demonstrate their ability to safely operate the required warehouse equipment, including maneuvering through a designated cone course.

2. Picking Assessment

Candidates who successfully complete the driving portion will demonstrate their ability to use a Reach Truck and Order Picker to retrieve product from warehouse shelving/racking.

3. Written Safety Assessment

Candidates who successfully complete the equipment portion will complete a written warehouse/equipment safety assessment.

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, and Electric Pallet Jacks
• Retrieve and put away inventory using warehouse racking
• Pick products from warehouse shelving using powered equipment
• Move, stage, store, and distribute materials throughout the facility
• Perform picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory movement
• Use RF scanners to locate, scan, and verify products
• Maintain accurate inventory placement and product organization
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections
• Identify and report damaged products or inventory discrepancies
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and SOPs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Experience

• Recent hands-on Reach Truck experience
• Recent hands-on Order Picker experience
• Recent hands-on Electric Pallet Jack experience
• Experience retrieving and/or putting away product using warehouse racking
• Comfortable operating an Order Picker at elevated heights
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or distribution center experience
• RF scanner experience
• Pick, pack, ship, staging, or material handling experience
• Ability to safely operate all three required pieces of equipment with minimal additional training
• Strong attendance, reliability, and punctuality

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 30+ lbs.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying
• Ability to perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
• Comfortable working at elevated heights
• Ability to safely enter, exit, maneuver, and operate powered warehouse equipment

Employment Requirements

• Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening
• Must provide valid documentation establishing identity and authorization to work in the United States as required upon hire
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
• Must be available for the full assigned shift
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
