Position: Warehouse / Material Handler
Shift: 1st Shift – 40 Hours

As a Warehouse / Material Handler, you will play a vital role in maintaining organization and efficiency within the production environment. This position involves material handling, warehouse organization, and supporting press operations to ensure seamless production flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, store, and manage raw materials, ensuring accuracy in inventory records.
• Verify and resolve any discrepancies in received shipments.
• Prepare skids for LTL shipments, verifying item specifications and carton counts before processing.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by utilizing aged stock when possible.
• Pull and deliver correct materials to press operators, minimizing downtime.
• Assist with press changeovers, teardowns, and other production tasks.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization, following 5S principles.
• Complete monthly inventory counts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper placement of skids on racks, maintaining safety and accessibility.
• Remove waste materials, dispose of trash, and keep production areas clear.
• Operate material-handling equipment and slitter machines when necessary.
• Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for 90% of the shift.
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening).
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be comfortable wearing PPE when required.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows-based software is a plus.

Work Environment & Expectations:

• Work is performed in a printing production facility, with exposure to noise, inks, and chemicals.
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
• Must be flexible to support production needs, including occasional voluntary overtime and weekend work.
