Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the facility warehouse. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the storage, inventory, distribution and shipping & receiving of product. Role is also responsible for managing the various roles within the warehouse.
Essential Functions:
• Inventory Control: Oversee cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels for raw materials and finished goods to prevent production delays
• Workflow Optimization: Manage the movement and storage of goods, aligning warehouse processes with daily manufacturing schedules
• Team management: Recruit, train m, schedule and evaluate warehouse associates
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA safety regulations, company safety policies & procedures, conduct safety training as needed and ensure a clean and orderly work environment,
• Equipment Management: Coordinate the maintenance and repair of machinery such as forklifts and racking systems.
• Shipping & Receiving: Manage the shipping & receiving processes and policies; ensure accurate paperwork, ensure timely receipt and shipment of product and maintain solid working relationships with
3rd party shipping vendors
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with production, Procurement and inside sales departments to ensure seamless execution of supply chain and product shipment to customers
