We are currently seeking a proven leader for our warehouse operations in San Leandro, CA. This pivotal role supports day to day supply chain and logisitcs functions for the branch. The warehouse Manager is hands-on, ensuring all warehouse personnel are assisting our customers in their purchasing of materials, accurately pulling materials from the warehouse based on what our customers order, and oversight of order staging for pick up or delivery. This includes having a working knowledge in electrical parts and materials as carried by the company, the Eclipse RF warehouse software and layout of the warehouse. The Warehouse Manager is also responsible for the accurate receipt of materials delivered to the warehouse.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervises warehouse personnel.
  • Oversees daily warehouse activities in the receiving, transfers, dispatching and order filling departments.
  • Assist in training on RF system and procedures.
  • Works to ensure customers are not waiting too long for material.
  • Counter Sales: assist customers at counter and types up order for material.
  • Makes decisions on pricing if needed.
  • Guides customer to various products available.
  • Receiving: unload material from delivery trucks, count material and refer to the bill of lading for correct quantity.
  • Use RF gun to scan material into inventory, date stamp, initial and file order for managements review.
  • Order Filler: pulls order using RF gun and places material in will call, counter or dispatch for delivery.
  • Verifies all material was picked including large orders that are not in RF gun.
  • Down stocking: Replenishing stock by using RF gun to move material from inventory to primary location for order fillers.
  • Backup for Will Call department.
  • Forklift operator: drives forklift to unload material from delivery trucks.
  • Supervisory

Responsibilities: Supervises order filler employees and dispatch supervisor/manager, writes up employee evaluations, disciplines employees when needed, and works with Operations Manager/VP Operations on employee issues.

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years of experience in electrical business. Knowledgeable in electrical material sales and products.

Certificates &Licenses: Forklift Certified
