Position Summary: The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management and execution of the warehouse operation, customer order fulfillment functions and associated processes/procedures. Effectively manage, lead, train and continually develop the operations team. The Warehouse Manager must be analytical, well-organized, and excel in communication. They must be comfortable with paperwork and information systems, as well as have a strong knowledge of shipping and receiving best practices. They must have a clear leadership style that promotes accountability and teamwork. The Warehouse Manager provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers and demonstrates strict confidentiality with all team members while serving as an ambassador of our culture.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work 1st shift hours, staying until work is completed.
- Oversee warehouse operations and teams, making sure workers complete tasks quickly,effectively, and correctly.
- Consistent communication with all stakeholders and/or departments to ensure all customers’needs are met.
- Creating and maintaining an operational culture that puts world class customer service at thehighest priority day in and day out. (Both internal and external)
- Work with our vendor and manufacturer partners to grow our relationships and learn when newproducts, equipment and technology may allow us for continued growth and efficiency.
- Review daily operational reports.
- Daily collaboration with purchasing, sales, and logistics to promote teamwork.
- Provide a consistent platform of communication and teamwork between all warehouse shifts.
- Support the development of all team members via ongoing coaching and mentoring.
- Participates in ongoing education to update job knowledge.
- Will work with HR to recruit, hire and ensure proper onboarding/training of new employees inwarehouse.
- Coach, counsel, schedule, and disciplines current warehouse employees as needed byenforcing policies and procedures.
- Manage the security and safety of our warehouse.
- Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and continuous qualityimprovement objectives.
- Manage all warehouse worker schedules to ensure there is always enough labor to properlyoperate equipment and complete shipping and receiving.
- Review and approve weekly timesheets for operations team.
- Oversee all maintenance on warehouse equipment, ensuring everything remains in safe andgood operating condition.
- Contributes to creating and recommending strategic plans and reviews to achieve operationalobjectives. Prepares and implements production and quality plans based around customerservice standards. Resolves problems and identifies trends.
- Establishes, follows, and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with ahealthy work environment and legal requirements.
- Manage our returns process to ensure items are dealt with promptly and returned tostock/vendor.
- Determines product handling and storage requirements to develop warehouse operationssystems. Develops, implements, evaluates and enforces policies and procedures. Developsprocesses for receiving products, utilizing equipment, managing inventory and shippingproduct.
- Liaison with all other locations and/or relevant managers when necessary.
- Oversees the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives and continuousquality improvement objectives.
- Demonstrates company core values and best practices.

- Adheres to all Company safety rules, standards, and guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven track record of managing a team in a warehouse environment. Leadership andorganizational skills with a heavy emphasis on attention to detail.
- 3-5 years’ experience handling inventory/operational tasks.
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
- Great communication skills with both the ability and desire to lead a team
- A working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
- 3-5 years’ experience in wholesale PVF industry
- Willingness to learn and promote a culture of teamwork, positivity and continued growth as anassociate and business.
- Requires the ability to effectively build rapport with both internal and external customers
- Requires a positive attitude and ability to function both independently and in a team setting.
- Must possess strong mathematical aptitude.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.

- Must be able to communicate in English with regard to the essential functions of the position.
- General Computer Skills including Microsoft Office and WMS Software

Required Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Five years of prior warehouse experience with a focus on distribution.
- Four years of prior management experience with a focus on distribution.
- Prior crane and cherry picker operations preferred.
- Prior forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 50 lbs.
- Requires visual, hearing, and speech acuity.
- Requires the ability to stand and walk long distances for extended periods of time.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures and elements, noise, and fumes.
