Majesty’s Animal Nutrition is seeking an experienced Warehouse Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, machinery, and facility systems throughout our manufacturing and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is a skilled, dependable problem-solver who can work independently, prioritize maintenance needs, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, repairs, and adjustments on production and warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other equipment issues.
- Diagnose equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs or adjustments.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, mixers, packaging equipment, motors, pumps, fans, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform basic electrical repairs and troubleshooting, as qualified.
- Repair and maintain facility components such as doors, fixtures, plumbing, lighting, and other building systems.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production maintenance needs.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Identify potential equipment and facility hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with equipment installation, modifications, and improvements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.
- Maintain an inventory of commonly used tools, parts, and supplies and communicate when replacements are needed.
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Management to minimize equipment downtime.
- Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA requirements, and proper lockout/tagout procedures.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, or facility maintenance.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, work instructions, and basic diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple maintenance needs.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work around machinery, moving equipment, dust, noise, and varying warehouse temperatures.
- Ability to safely work from ladders or elevated work areas when necessary.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
