Warehouse Lead – Savage, MN

Road Machinery & Supplies Co. is searching for a Warehouse Lead to join its team at its Savage, MN location.  In this role, you will be responsible for all warehouse daily procedures, including but not limited to shipping and receiving, stocking shelves, picking orders, arranging shipping, and maintaining inventory accuracy.  In this position, at times you will also be assisting the Parts department.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations, including shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and pulling, packing, and shipping of returns. 
• Help organize what items go on the shuttle, deciding which need to stay behind 
• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure their tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies and provide reorder lists as needed
• Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized and that safety protocols are followed
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, including new hires
• Other miscellaneous duties assigned by management.

Qualifications/Skills:

• One to two years warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. 
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and keep an organized environment.
• Work responsibly as an individual with minimal direction.
• Some experience and knowledge of Heavy Equipment Parts preferred.
• Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
• Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
• Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.
• Comfortable and fluent with a desktop computer, software, and email.
