Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations for a manufacturing facility in Jacksonville.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for warehouse personnel, inventory accuracy, material handling, and shipping and receiving operations.

We are seeking someone with a strong warehouse background who understands how to keep materials moving efficiently while maintaining a safe and organized operation.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations & Leadership

• Direct daily warehouse activities and assign work to team members

• Coordinate receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping

• Train employees on warehouse procedures and equipment safety

• Monitor workflow and help maintain production schedules

• Communicate with management regarding staffing and operational needs

Inventory & Materials

• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or warehouse management systems

• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies

• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and material rotation

• Coordinate raw material availability with production and purchasing

• Assist with physical inventory counts

Shipping & Receiving

• Verify incoming shipments and inspect materials for damage

• Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels

• Coordinate freight pickups and outbound deliveries

• Ensure materials and finished products are properly packaged and loaded

Safety & Equipment

• Promote OSHA and company safety standards

• Ensure safe operation of forklifts and pallet jacks

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

• Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns

Required Qualifications

• Previous warehouse lead or supervisory experience

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial warehouse operations preferred

• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, and receiving

• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Epicor

• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift
