Warehouse Department Lead – Day Shift

💰 $20.00–$22.00 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Warehouse Department Lead for a growing operation in Gaston, SC. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, leading a team, and ensuring productivity, quality, and safety goals are achieved.

Responsibilities:

✅ Lead and supervise a team of up to 15 warehouse associates

✅ Conduct daily morning meetings and communicate production goals

✅ Delegate tasks and monitor workflow throughout the shift

✅ Perform quality checks to ensure work meets company standards

✅ Lead warehouse projects and support continuous improvement efforts

✅ Assist team members in meeting productivity and performance metrics

✅ Train, coach, and provide guidance to warehouse staff

✅ Safely operate warehouse equipment including:

• Cherry Picker
• Reach Truck
• Clamp Truck
• Other material handling equipment as needed

Qualifications:

✔ Previous warehouse leadership, lead, or supervisory experience

✔ Experience operating powered industrial equipment

✔ Strong communication and team leadership skills

✔ Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

✔ Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence

✔ Reliable work history and strong attendance record
