Summary of Position:

The Warehouse Clerk/Driver is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing material, tools equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timelines of all job functions and also delivers material and equipment to clients and vendors as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing
  • Responsible for working in a warehouse environment and drive truck to make deliveries to customer locations
  • Operates a forklift safely, within OSHA/WISHA regulations
  • Pick, review order, pack, and load accurately for customers
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped
  • Load trucks in a safe manner meeting all Safe Operating Practice (SOP)
  • Move materials and items from receiving and storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers
  • Make safe deliveries to customers sites meeting all SOP
  • Drive safely to meet all local laws, company safety policies and the Department of Transportation requirements
  • Update Calendar showing most recent status on current order’s progress from reception of order through departure
  • Final quality check prior to shipment departure from the warehouse
  • Invoicing out of inventory and record keeping of all signed copies of Delivery requests
  • Provide product to configuration at Denali to prepare the devices with the appropriate software for users
  • Assist with special project team to kit product prior to shipment, and then ship product to the users
  • Assist with Inventory cycle count as needed
  • Run and monitor expected delivery reports daily
  • Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

Work Environment:

This position is based in a professional office setting and regularly utilizes workplace technology, including computers, smartphones, multifunction printers, cloud-based filing systems, and collaboration tools.

Physical Demands

This role requires physical capabilities that support the successful execution of key responsibilities. The employee regularly engages in verbal and written communication with colleagues and clients to address project-related inquiries and must be able to convey accurate information clearly and efficiently. The position involves remaining seated at a workstation for approximately 75% of the time, with occasional movement throughout the office to access equipment, supplies, and shared resources. Daily tasks include consistent use of computers and standard office technology such as keyboards, printers, and multifunction devices. The role also involves transporting equipment boxes weighing up to 25 pounds within the building and to other offsite locations as needed for project support. 


Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma Required                  
  • 1-3 years of experience

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Take equipment on and off shelves repeatedly.
  • MUST have valid driver’s license & Evidence of Insurability
  • DOT Certified
  • Proven experience as a delivery driver
  • Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations
