Job Description Summary

The Warehouse clerk reviews and files all shipping and receiving paperwork as well as assisting with inventory control and assisting with other departments as needed.

Job Description

• This position is seasonal.
• Review shipping and receiving paperwork for accuracy.
• Print shipping bills and landings.
• Receive packages ordered by other departments.
• Notify other departments when packages have arrived.
• Scan & file shipping and receiving paperwork and data entry as required.
• Keep vendor files updated.
• Count and document dry supplies and ingredients.
• Review, modify and/or create new procedures and one point lessons.
• Keep neat and orderly files.
• Delivering packages ordered by other departments.
• Scanning and filing production daily paperwork.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

• Position Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate written and orally with managerial staff.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply knowledge and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
• Proficient personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, record keeping, word processing, spreadsheets etc.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s work location, job duties, experience and expertise. A reasonable hourly estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $19.94 - $20.69
