NOTE: Job is located in Brinkley, Arkansas. Shift is days (M-F).
Job Summary Under general supervision of Distribution Manager, performs various routine duties related to shipment of finished products and receipt of raw materials. Coordinates with Warehouse Coordinator on daily shipments both in and out of plant. Required to serve as back up to Warehouse Coordinator when absent.
Minimum of one year experience in a warehouse envrionment and knowledge of shipping procedures preferred.
Principal Job Duties - General clerical duties include answering phones, answering emails, and maintaining files.
- Assist in identification of shipping orders as good or deficient; notify production accordingly.
- Assist in daily delivery order generation.
- Assist in scheduling outbound.
- Assist in goods issuing and shipment completion on all loaded orders.
- Management of SAP reports for analysis and department operation, fixing errors, data entry (i.e. VT11)
- Manage inventory of empty and loaded trailers on yard.
- Assist in daily data input of shipping orders (i.e. APO SAP, Auto02, etc.).
- Cross train and support other clerical roles throughout the facility and within the department.
- Must be assertive, self-motivated, and dependable.
- Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as required.
- Send and respond to emails for internal and external customers.
- Run TLB & Auto02 to create TOs for outbound shipments, assign shipments and print orders.
- Contact carriers and set up OTR Loads based on the equipment available and rates as needed.
- Scan in daily carrier rotation log.
- Review, release, and waybill loaded railcars and all paperwork accuracy daily.
- Complete and review all paperwork accuracy (i.e. customs documents) for international loads daily.
- Dispatch Loads to Trucking Carriers.
- File and archive all BOLs and associate paperwork/documents.
- Prepare and review daily yard check of loaded trailers in Power Yard (the yard management system)
- Prepare UPS domestic and international shipments.
- Place/Remove product from Quality hold.
- Report daily loaded containers to each carrier.
- Maintains the accurate filing of all paper bills
- Prepare shipment documents, receive, and distribute return communication
- Assist with the management of dispatch, carrier rotation, rail check, maintain Yard view, and bin consolidation and other various other duties requested by upper management.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Distribution Supervisor and the Warehouse Manager.
Knowledge
- Education
High School Diploma or GED
- Prior Work Experience
Minimum 2 years’ clerical experience in warehouse/shipping preferred

- Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but not required.
- Equipment Used:
- General office and communications equipment.
- PC proficiency – MS Office – Excel, Outlook, and Word applications.
- Proficiency in SAP.
(C) Working Conditions:
- Office environment with moderate/frequent daily/weekly exposure to manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Exposure to temperatures both cold and hot depending on external ambient air.
