This role involves general warehouse operations, inventory management, and forklift operation.
Key Responsibilities- Load and unload trucks.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Store, organize, pick, pack, label, issue, and dispose of inventory materials.
- Pull materials to fulfill production or warehouse requests.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Support kitting and Kanban point-of-use replenishment activities.
- Optimize warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency and safety.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping/receiving area.
- Operate a sit-down forklift or other material handling equipment after completing company training and certification.
- Follow all company QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) policies and procedures.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/storekeeper experience.
- Sit-down forklift experience is preferred (1+ year is ideal), but training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation.
- Good attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must not be afraid of heights.
- Comfortable performing physical work and getting dirty when required.
Preferred Qualifications- SAP experience.
- Inventory control experience.
- Swing Reach/Reach Truck experience.
Training- Company-provided forklift certification (prior certification is not required).
- Training in Swing Reach equipment and SAP.
Work Environment- Combination of indoor warehouse and outdoor work.
- Exposure to hot, cold, and changing weather conditions.
- Physical work involves lifting, moving materials, and working at heights when required.
