About the Position

We are hiring for a Chattanooga-based manufacturer and distributor of specialty tires for collector and vintage automobiles, and seeking a dependableWarehouse Associate to join the team.

This is a hands-on warehouse position that includes forklift operation, but it is not a forklift-only role. Candidates must be comfortable spending the majority of their shift performing general warehouse duties, including unloading, picking and shipping orders, handling inventory, counting product, cleaning, and lifting materials by hand.

Forklift experience is required, and the forklift will be operated as needed throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming inventory and prepare products for proper storage
• Accurately pick, prepare, and ship inventory to fulfill customer orders
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory counts with a high level of accuracy
• Operate a forklift safely as needed
• Move, organize, and handle products manually throughout the warehouse
• Assist with general warehouse cleaning, organization, and maintenance
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse team members to meet daily goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is required
• Must be comfortable performing manual warehouse work throughout the entire shift
• Ability to regularly lift and handle 50–70 pounds
• Basic computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Dependable and able to maintain a steady work pace
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being active and working as part of a warehouse team. We're looking for a candidate who is just as comfortable unloading inventory, picking orders, counting product, cleaning, and lifting materials by hand as they are operating a forklift.

If you're looking for a position where you'll spend your entire shift operating a forklift, this will not be the right fit. If you're an experienced forklift operator who is also comfortable jumping in and handling all aspects of warehouse work, we'd like to hear from you.

Pay: $18.00/hour

Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
