Warehouse Material Handler – $17/Hour | Full-Time | Equipment Operation

Express Employment Professionals is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers for a busy distribution facility!

This is a hands-on warehouse opportunity for dependable candidates who are comfortable working on their feet, lifting up to 50 lbs., and operating material handling equipment. Previous warehouse or equipment experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Pay: $17.00/Hour

What You’ll Do

• Receive and unload large boxes and products on the warehouse dock

• Scan products using an RF scanner

• Enter product information into a computer system

• Break down cases and prepare products for distribution

• Replenish warehouse inventory using material handling equipment

• Pick large-case and small-unit products using a voice-directed picking system

• Place picked products onto carts or pallets

• Palletize large items, wrap skids, and prepare shipments

• Pack smaller products into boxes for shipment

• Operate various warehouse equipment as required, including:

  • Forklift

  • Reach truck

  • Order picker / cherry picker

  • Turret truck

  • Pallet jack

  • Walkie rider

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment

• Ability to meet productivity and performance standards

• Self-motivated and dependable with the ability to work independently

• Comfortable working as part of a team

• Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, and lift for an 8-hour shift or longer

• Ability to safely work at heights of up to 25 feet

• Willingness to work overtime, including with limited advance notice

• Basic warehouse, material handling, or packaging skills

• Good verbal communication skills

• Willingness to learn and operate different types of material handling equipment

• Flexibility to rotate between different areas of the warehouse

Preferred Experience

• Previous warehouse or material handler experience

• Forklift or other material handling equipment experience

• Experience with RF scanners

• Experience with voice-directed picking systems

• High school diploma or GED preferred
