Job Summary

To ship all Gemini products to customers accurately and in a timely manner. This position will support Geminis sales force and our customers by providing excellent service.

Primary Responsibilities

Be able to read all picking lists thoroughly and have a clear understanding of all containers (size, weight, etc.)

Utilize a variety of machines for shipping purposes.

Pull product from warehouse accurately and efficiently.

Enter information into X3 and Assistics computer program.

Create rate quotes for all methods of shipping.

Be able to identify raw material codes and have an understanding of what each one is used for.

Must understand Hazardous waste requirements.

Need to be able to visually see color variances on different substrates.

Must work closely with Sales to understand customer needs.

Inspect Equipment before operation.

Follow all safety rules and assure work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.

Keep work areas clean and organized.

Follow all company rules and policies.

Be able to work as part of a team and alone.

Work with employees to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.

Report for all scheduled shifts on time and return from breaks and lunches in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Basic Math skills

Effective communication skills (i.e. reading and writing)

Ability to operate a forklift

Basic computer skills

High School Diploma or GED preferred
