The Opportunity:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for timely/accurate execution of the daily demands associated with receiving, picking, shipping, and/or cycle counting across any of the Merical warehouse facilities.
What You’ll Do:
- Receiving all components, bulk vitamins, equipment, labels, packaging components, etc. to comply with MeriCal’s SOPs/cGMPs.
- Picking and staging jobs correctly and efficiently.
- Timely completion and accuracy of shipping both internally and externally to the customer.
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and be involved in the YE annual physical.
- Returning components to stock in their appropriate locations and consolidating partial cases.
- Completing all paperwork involving items received.
- Entering all pertinent data into computer systems for retrieving information and releasing shipments.
- Communicate with the Customer Service department on status of activity.
- Promote and support the Total Quality Management process within the department.
- Be actively involved in training when needed.
- Perform all business-related tasks when requested by the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
- As necessary, trucks operate for transporting materials, finished products or equipment, as directed by the Shipping Supervisor.
- Assist in loading and unloading of MeriCal trucks, maintain vehicle log, pre-trip inspection checks and check shipping delivery orders.
What You’ll Bring:
- 1+ years of production experience within a GMP compliant facility.
- 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse function, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to read labels on components, packing lists, etc.
- Must possess basic math skills (+, -, x , / ).
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 50 lbs. and stand for 10 hours per day.
- Must be certified to operate Forklift, Power Pallet Jack and company trucks when needed.
- Must score 90% or better on MeriCal’s SOP/cGMP testing.
- Must pass DOT physical requirements if operating a company truck
- Familiarity with gross tare and net weights. Understanding of DOT rules and regulations concerning proper load limits and California regulations.
- Must possess a California Driver’s License in good standing, and clean DMV record.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma/Certificate; one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 The compensation offered may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and/or education.
