Key Responsibilities
Warehouse workers, also known as warehouse associates or operatives, perform a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations:
Load and unload: Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage, check compliance with company standards, and store items in designated locations following inventory protocols.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, reachtruck, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment, performing daily inspections.
Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards, reporting any safety or maintenance issues promptly.
Compliance and Safety: Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Reach truck and forklift experience is a must.
Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50lbs on occasion.
Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
Familiarity with warehouse procedures and equipment operation.
Basic computer skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Considerations
Some positions require certification for operating forklifts or other machinery.
Compliance with company policies and safety regulations is mandatory.
