Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with an automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate – Repack Operations. This role is responsible for repackaging service parts into service-ready containers, supporting outbound shipping quality, and ensuring safe material handling practices throughout warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse packaging environments and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production setting.
Job Duties
- Perform made-in-house repack operations for body, plastics, and propulsion parts
- Move materials into service-ready packaging according to established procedures
- Utilize gantry crane or lift assist equipment to package propulsion components into shipping crates
- Follow packing and pallet safety guidelines to minimize shipping damage
- Apply proper lifting techniques and consistently utilize required PPE
- Utilize Standard Work Sheets (SWS) and training documentation during repack activities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization using 5S principles
- Identify waste and support continuous improvement initiatives within the work area
- Rotate between warehouse workstations and operational areas as needed
- Support overtime and flexible scheduling requirements based on business demand
Skills & Experience
Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent credential preferred
- Prior warehouse, packaging, or material handling experience
- Experience following PPE and workplace safety procedures
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Ability to stand for extended periods during 8–12 hour shifts
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and handle awkward or oversized materials
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures and standard operating instructions
- Comfortable working in warehouse environments with varying temperatures, dust, and noise levels
Desired
- Automotive warehouse or service parts experience
- Experience operating gantry cranes or lift assist equipment
- Familiarity with palletizing and shipment protection practices
- Experience utilizing standardized work instructions in warehouse operations
- Exposure to 5S or lean warehouse practices
- Experience supporting repackaging or outbound shipping operations
