EHC is looking for a Warehouse Associate for a Client in the Houston Area
Schedule:Day Shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday, overtime as needed)
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experiencedWarehouserto support warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, forklift operation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience
- Experience working in receiving operations
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Computer literate and able to learn new systems quickly
- Strong attendance and punctuality record
- Able to read and write in English
Schedule Requirements
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Overtime required as business needs dictate
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
- Review warehouse documentation to determine materials requiring movement, storage, distribution, or shipment
- Move materials to designated warehouse or production areas
- Accurately record inventory transactions in warehouse management systems
- Support physical inventories and cycle counting activities
- Maintain inventory records and document material shortages as required
- Ensure material availability for assembly and production operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and report maintenance concerns promptly
- Follow all company health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures
- Utilize Oracle and other ERP/MRP systems to manage inventory and warehouse transactions
- Perform additional duties as assigned by warehouse leadership
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years of warehouse experience
- Experience using Oracle or similar inventory management systems preferred
Working Conditions
- Less than 5% travel required
- Exposure to loud noise within the warehouse environment
- Exposure to moving machinery and equipment on the shop floor
- Warehouse conditions may include hot and cold temperatures, as facilities are not climate-controlled
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary

Technical Skills & Equipment Experience
- Experience operating Oracle MSCA handheld scanners (preferred)
- Ability to operate JIB and overhead cranes
- Ability to safely lift up to 45 pounds
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP business systems
- Experience using office equipment for scanning and copying documentation
- Ability to work at heights while utilizing fall protection equipment
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to send, receive, and manage professional email communications
- Experience operating Class II and Class IV forklifts, including:- Order Pickers- Reach Trucks
- Manlifts
- Sit-down Forklifts (50-170 capacity range)
