Logistics Associate

Location: Auburn Hills, MI

Shift: 1st Shift and 2nd| Overtime Available

We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Associate to support warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving, and material handling operations. This role is critical in ensuring materials, robots, and components are accurately received, stored, picked, packaged, and shipped to support customer and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Pick, package, and prepare materials, robots, and controllers for customer orders and internal production needs
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips
• Stock materials and robots according to warehouse guidelines
• Maintain and update warehouse locations and inventory records
• Audit outbound shipments for accuracy and quality
• Perform inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
• Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Use inventory management systems for transaction processing and data entry
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Reorganize warehouse storage areas as needed
• Support additional logistics and warehouse functions as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, or material handling
• Familiarity with picking, packing, and inventory control processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify part numbers and quantities
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred:

• Associate degree
• Experience using inventory management or ERP systems
• Forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, manlift, or overhead crane experience
• Previous experience in manufacturing, robotics, or distribution environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and additional shifts as business needs require
