Job Overview:

Position Title

Warehouse / Logistics Manager

Position Summary

The Warehouse / Logistics Manager is responsible for managing all warehouse and shipping activities at Tundra’s facility in White Bear Lake, MN. This role oversees inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, material movement, and warehouse organization. The Warehouse Manager works closely with production, purchasing, and customer service to ensure materials and finished goods are available and shipped on time.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Manage daily warehouse operations including:
  • Perform and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of materials
  • Maintain FIFO inventory practices where applicable

Shipping & Receiving

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments
  • Prepare shipping documents and verify shipment accuracy
  • Schedule freight carriers and pickups
  • Receive incoming materials and confirm quantities against packing slips
  • Support customer shipment priorities and expedite requests when necessary

General

  • Supervise warehouse associates, forklift operators, and shipping personnel

  • Train employees regarding warehouse procedures and safety practices

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment

  • Enforce forklift safety and warehouse safety procedures

  • Conduct regular inspections of racks, equipment, and storage areas

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety requirements

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs

  • Improve inventory accuracy and material flow

  • Assist in developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Support 5S and continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of warehouse or logistics experience
  • Supervisory experience in manufacturing or distribution preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Hands-on leadership
  • Strong inventory management skills
  • ERP, inventory, and logistics software experience
  • Forklift certification and warehouse equipment knowledge
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Basic Excel and reporting skills
