  • Lead inter-site load balancing, outsourcing strategies, and make-versus-buy decisions
  • Ensure alignment between short-term operational execution and long-term manufacturing footprint strategy

4) Materials Planning & ERP/MRP Governance

  • Establish enterprise standards for ERP/MRP planning logic, parameters, and data integrity
  • Oversee shortage management processes and escalation protocols
  • Drive improvements in inventory turns, material availability, and excess/obsolete inventory reduction
  • Ensure planning accuracy and adherence to ERP/MRP processes across all sites

5) Supplier Risk & Performance Leadership

  • Oversee supplier performance management and risk mitigation strategies in partnership with Purchasing
  • Identify and mitigate single-source, long-lead-time, and supply continuity risks
  • Champion proactive risk mitigation initiatives including dual sourcing, inventory buffering, and supplier development strategies

6) Facility Transition & Consolidation Leadership

  • Lead supply chain planning strategy for facility consolidations, new building ramp-ups, and operational transitions
  • Establish readiness criteria, contingency plans, and operational “go/no-go” milestones
  • Provide executive-level visibility into transition risks, mitigation plans, and execution progress
  • Ensure continuity of customer commitments throughout facility transitions and operational scaling efforts
