We are looking for a **Vice President, Plant Manager** to join our Executive Team and lead our Sheridan, IN facility. As the VP, Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, safety, engineering, buildings & grounds, and continuous improvement. You will coordinate the plant’s manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company objectives, quality systems, and customer expectations. You will also work closely with other senior leaders to develop and execute the strategic vision and goals of the company. 


To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus. 

- At least 7+ years of proven skills in leadership and supervision in plant management and engineering, preferably in the precision machining industry. 

- A demonstrated understanding of lean manufacturing principles and practices, such as 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, TPM, etc. Ability to apply lean manufacturing principles in designing, specifying, and validating world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals.

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

- Plan and coordinate manufacturing operations for production, machinery, processing, and shipping departments. 

- Ensure that production schedules are following facility capabilities, customer requirements, and financial planning. 

- Manage materials replenishment, quality standards, and performance metrics in support of organizational goals and objectives. 

- Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality. 

- Manage cost structures for manufacturing by keeping operational expenses within budget allowance according to company policy, and investigate cost-reduction measures. 

- Create documentation protocols and ensure that all records of operations are properly maintained and reviewed.
