**Job Summary

**: 

This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in Fleet Maintenance and Management. As the Regional Fleet Manager, you are responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles in order to keep deliveries and service on schedule and within established budgets. In order to succeed you will need experience and skills in direct mechanic management, CMV repair standards, logistics and related software programs.

**Vehicle Planning 

**

• Plan, process and execute vehicle repairs and vehicle preventative maintenance to meet business needs.

• Responsible for working with other regional department managers to determine regional vehicle needs.

**Record Keeping 

**

• Responsible for the entry and oversight of company fleet recordkeeping.

• Register and license vehicles as needed.

• Assist in maintaining electronic databases of registration, inspections and maintenance of fleet management.

• Assist in keeping fleet operations in compliance with local and state rules and regulations

**Maintenance 

**

• Monitor maintenance schedules to ensure each vehicle is kept in top condition.
• Review and approve fleet spending requests submitted by technicians.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs done both by in house garage technicians and outside vendors.
• Work closely with outside vendors to ensure quality repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge and utilize all fleet information to improve current standards.

• Assist Corporate Fleet Manager regarding repair decisions
