Urgently Hiring | Full-Time

Our Client is an established valve manufacturer operating for more than 100 years. We are looking for aValve Assemblerwho is detail-oriented and able to work closely with fellow team members to ensure products are functional and built correctly. Must be mechanically inclined. This role is in-person based out of our facility located at 3850 Review Ave, Long Island City, NY 11101.

(MANUAL MACHINING REQUIRED - 5 YEARS EXP)

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components following closely detailed instructions

• Use of pneumatic air tools

• Visually and mechanically inspect as instructed

• Use of manual machining equipment

• Modification of valve bodies

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Room for advancement

• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications:

• Experience working with valves and/or heavy industrial equipment?

• 5 years experience with lathes and milling machines

• Knowledge and practical experience setting up and operating conventional and manual equipment

• Willingness to learn and apply new concepts and procedures

• Good hand and eye coordination

• Use of caliper - willing to train

• Maintain an excellent attendance record
