**Responsibilities:

**

Lead end-to-end operations for the Sheet Metal department, from work order creation through final delivery
Oversee a cross-functional team in a matrixed manufacturing environment at the San Jose site
Drive performance across production, quality, engineering, maintenance, scheduling, and programming
Implement and sustain an Operational Excellence (OpEx) framework focused on lean, quality, and efficiency
Manage workflow and material movement using WIP tracking, dispatch systems, and tier management
Identify and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions
Use data and value stream metrics to improve throughput and eliminate bottlenecks
Own capacity planning, including labor, equipment, CapEx, and staffing needs
Lead resolution of non-conformances and ensure quality standards are met
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and reduce costs
Support automation and process improvements to optimize operations
Partner with customers to support performance, responsiveness, and on-time delivery
Lead and develop a team of supervisors, leads, and 125+ employees, fostering accountability and collaboration

**Required Experience:

**

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field
10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations (mid-to-large environments)
Sheet metal experience preferred (5+ years)
Proven experience driving OpEx or continuous improvement initiatives
Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
Ability to travel up to 5%
Authorized to work in the United States
