We are seeking a dedicated Vacation Gear Delivery Driver specializing in heavy pickup trucks and trailers to join our dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities

Safely operate heavy pickup trucks with trailers to deliver vacation gear across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load, unload, and secure cargo using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts, ensuring items are protected during transit.
Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal delivery sequences to meet schedule commitments.
Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, addressing inquiries, and ensuring satisfaction.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
Assist with warehouse activities including inventory management, loading supplies, and organizing storage areas.
Load and unload cargo manually or with mechanical aids, applying proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests and signatures, for record-keeping purposes.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver, particularly with box trucks or similar commercial vehicles.
Strong knowledge of driving regulations related to heavy vehicles and trailer operation.
Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely during loading and unloading tasks.
Familiarity with warehouse operations, including the use of forklifts and pallet jacks.
Experience with route planning and navigation tools for efficient deliveries.
Knowledge of manual transmission operation is preferred.
Previous experience in moving or courier services is advantageous.
Ability to operate commercial equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
