Summary:
The Utility Technician performs duties to maintain production and chemical operations work areas, and equipment in clean and orderly fashion. Responsible for general housekeeping of workstation and keeping equipment clean.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and empty trash and recycle scrap items.
- Attending basic maintenance of equipment and tools as needed.
- Ensure the work area and general use areas are clean and organized daily.
- Move tools, fixtures, and other items as required.
- Follow work instructions in a timely manner.
- Packout products as requested.
- Assist maintenance in repairs as needed.
- Follow work instructions in a timely manner.
- Inventory counting and adjusting as required.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned based on manufacturing, production, and warehousing demands.
- Must be able to pass Respirator Fit Testing to be cleared for respirator use.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Must be able to operate and be certified on Forklift Operations.
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must have a positive attitude and possess the ability to multitask and work well with others.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Ability to follow specific instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Language Skills:
- English required, bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Work Environment:
- Non-temperature-controlled warehouse, non-temperature-controlled production floor, temperature-controlled office.
Physical Demands:
- Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods, occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
