Position Summary
The Utility Person plays a versatile and important role in supporting plant operations across housekeeping, maintenance, production, and equipment operation. In this position, you’ll help monitor plant conditions during operation, perform routine maintenance/housekeeping tasks such as greasing and lubricating equipment, and maintain overall plant cleanliness and organization.
You’ll also have opportunities to operate equipment and assist with a variety of day-to-day operational needs as needed, contributing directly to the safe and efficient performance of the plant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

New Hire Orientation & Safety Training are held only TWICE a month, in the Bridgeport, TX (north DFW Area) training room. Be prepared for travel and overnight accommodation up to 1-3 days. Accommodations & reimbursements are covered by Martin Marietta for anyone traveling more than 50 miles.

Working Conditions
Will work in varied outdoor environments (in all weather conditions - heat, cold, wet, humid, dry and/or dusty conditions). Must be able to work in areas where noise levels are up to 90 dbs. The incumbent will be exposed to cement, clay, limestone, shale, and other raw materials and various chemicals, solvents and lubricant.
