As a Utility Slitter Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating and maintaining slitting machines to ensure high-quality output. Responsibilities

• Operate slitting machines to cut materials to specified widths and lengths.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on slitting equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and output.
• Document production data and report any issues to supervisors.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
• Previous experience as a slitter operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
