**Job Description
As a Utility Operator, you will be responsible to perform a variety of operational tasks safely and efficiently in dynamic industrial environment to support Reworld’s thermomechanical treatment process (waste to energy). This is an entry level position and training will be provided prior to starting any new or unfamiliar work.
Position Responsibilities:
**• Strict adherence to all to all safety practices and policies.
• Work in a self-guided manner in the absence of direct supervision and demonstrate creativity and initiative while exercising sound judgment.
• Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in all assigned areas.
• Responsible for chemical and reagent offloads.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with Environmental Permits and Safety Procedures.
• Perform power washing, sand blasting and other pre-painting activities on parts or equipment in preparation for painting & fabrication.
• Apply a variety of industrial coatings to fabricated metal products or equipment.
• Utilize instrumentation to measure painting parameters to ensure compliance with original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
• Responsible for the application of industrial coatings in confined spaces.
• Assist rigging operations as necessary.
• Adhere to all OSHA and hazardous materials procedures with respect to the storage and handling of materials in the area.
• Forklift and other mobile equipment operation
• Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations

Position Requirements & Qualifications:
**• Current driver’s license in good standing
• Must be willing to work overtime and on occasion, integrate into a rotating shift schedule during major and minor plant outages.**
Physical Demands:
**• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb
• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs
• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces
• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
• Consistently work in various weather conditions
