Upholstery Technician

Pay: $19.00–$21.00

Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm; Full-Time, Monday–Friday

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Covering Operator to apply fabric and other covering materials to acoustic panels and finished products. This is a hands-on manufacturing position focused on quality, precision, and finished appearance.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, position, stretch, and secure fabric to acoustic panels
• Ensure proper alignment, tension, corners, edges, and overall appearance
• Inspect materials for defects or damage
• Use basic hand and cutting tools, adhesives, and production equipment
• Inspect finished products and correct quality issues when possible
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Maintain a consistent production pace while meeting quality standards

Requirements:

• Previous upholstery experience required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to measure accurately and follow instructions
• Ability to recognize quality issues and defects
• Ability to use basic hand tools safely
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements
• Ability to lift and move materials as required
