Position Overview

We are hiring an Upholstery Production Associate for a leading manufacturing facility in Reno, NV. This hands-on role involves working with materials such as fabric, vinyl, and leather to assemble and finish products.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with tools, have strong attention to detail, and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and prepare upholstery materials
• Wrap and bond fabric, vinyl, leather, or laminate to frames or molded parts
• Stretch and secure materials for a smooth, wrinkle-free finish
• Prepare materials for laminating (cutting, trimming, staging)
• Apply laminate to surfaces such as plastic, wood, or metal
• Use hand tools, staple guns, adhesives, and cutting tools safely
• Inspect finished products for quality, alignment, and defects
• Meet daily production goals and follow schedules
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Assist with packaging and labeling when needed
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Work Environment

• Manufacturing / production setting
• Fast-paced with repetitive tasks
• Requires standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods

Requirements

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, upholstery, or similar experience is a plus (not required)
• Ability to use hand tools and adhesives
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 40–50 lbs
• Steel-toe boots required
• Must pass background check and drug screening
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Schedule & Overtime

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Overtime: Fridays & Saturdays as needed
