Custom Build-Upfit Mechanic – Union Grove, WI

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a Custom Build-Upfit Mechanic to install, assemble, and modify truck-mounted equipment on commercial vehicles. This role is ideal for mechanics, upfit technicians, fabricators, or diesel technicians who enjoy hands-on work involving hydraulics, electrical systems, fabrication, and custom truck builds.

What You'll Do

• Install utility equipment, cranes, aerial devices, truck bodies, and accessories.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic installations.
• Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Install PTOs, pumps, hydraulic systems, lighting, and tool storage solutions.
• Fabricate brackets and custom components as needed.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure quality workmanship.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in truck upfitting, diesel repair, fabrication, heavy equipment, or related trades.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
